About Me
About Me

Welcome to my personal page!

I am Vladimir Ostapenco, a DevOps engineer with a PhD in Computer Science passionate about cloud computing, cybersecurity, and open-source technologies.

For more than 7 years, I am working with various cloud technologies, focusing on deployment automation, container orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and energy efficiency.

I enjoy learning about new technologies and sharing my knowledge with others through lectures and practical sessions on container orchestration, log management, and various security topics.

Throughout my career, I have worked on several projects developed in various languages โ€‹โ€‹such as Python, C, JavaScript/Node.js and Rust.

During my PhD, I worked on energy efficiency and carbon footprint reduction of large-scale cloud data centers and co-authored several scientific papers.

I am currently an independent DevOps engineer promoting DevSecOps culture and specializing in Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform and Python.
