During my PhD, I worked on energy efficiency and carbon footprint reduction of large-scale cloud data centers and explored the following topics:
– Techniques and tools for measuring and modeling energy consumption
– Techniques (leverages) for reducing energy consumption and carbon footprint of cloud data centers
– VM consolidation in a large-scale production cloud infrastructure
– Proposal and validation of a leverage modeling approach and a leverage management framework

LUGUS LABS – a technology company promoting innovation in decentralized software and blockchain.
My activities at LUGUS LABS were:
– Design and development of a high-availability solution for blockchain PoS (Proof-of-Stake) validator nodes (HABS)
– Operation of a cluster of highly available distributed validator nodes with supervision and log centralization stacks
– Co-organization of local blockchain meetings in Lyon, France

HABS is an open source project that enables the creation of highly available, decentralized and secure blockchain PoS (Proof-Of-Stake) validator setups.
Main components of HABS:
– Chain component developed in Rust using Substrate framework
– Orchestrator component developed in JavaScript/Node.js using Express framework
– UI component developed in JavaScript using React
